Congress gives themselves a raise!

Not only that, but their COLA is automatic and if a majority of house members don't vote in down, well, then it passes and they get a raise.

I'm about sick and tired of our elected officials abusing every possible situation for their own monetary gain. I guess they know that it's more than likely they can do what they want and not have to worry about being fired.

BTW, of all the Congressman who voted for the <ahem> bailout, only 8 were removed from office. Ugh.

The rest of those representatives are horrible and evil but my guy here in my state is awesome. Right.
