A Christmas miracle(update)
Dec 25th, 2008 at 10:11pm

My two year old grandson Timothy has been  in very critical condition for quite some time as a few of you know.  Yesterday he received the new heart that we have been praying for.  Thanks for all the prayers that were so freely given by my friends on this site.  I'm sure they helped  more than we know.
This is the best Christmas ever.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------

Timothy has been sent home from the hospital and will make a complete recovery. Thank you for praying for him and the donor.
Thank you over and over .

This board has had some great Christmas gifts, Fubars kids coming home, your boy gets a new heart, nice to see prayers answered with a yes. May the new year keep showering the little guy with blessings.

And let's not forget Ike's little guy, Riley! What a year they went through with him. This is all such wonderful news for all of these little boys.

I am so glad to hear your grandson was given a new chance at life with a new heart! My prayers are with you and all these little guys!

Potter, I should have said this to you earlier in a PM...

So I will say it here.

As much as all of us praying and hoping Potters grandson's body accepts this heart....I'd like us who pray.. to offer up a few for the child who donated. And his wonderful family who made that heart-breaking decision.   Cry Cry Cry

For once I was right  Wink.  I told Potter Christmas Eve was the time for miracles. And I agree with Linda, a family somewhere is now grieving the loss of their child.

happy dancin' darlin

PS If you are able, please be an organ donor (I would, but Hep B took care of that).
