That's the beauty of digital. You don't have to have your eye glued to the viewfinder. I used to just hold up the camera and point toward the object I was interested in and try two or three shots. When you stop you look and delete the ones that didn't come out. Sure you miss some shots, but you can get a lot more than you would if you didn't take them at all.

for those shots I just HAD to have I would find a place to pull over and stop. Unfortunately, with a truck that is not as easy as with a car.
