Thanks Barry.

UPdate- Last night was very rough and confusing.  When someone tells you that the beast can behave quite differently each cycle, they're arn't kidding.  Here's what happened last night:

10:29pm-10:34pm, killed with O2
12:09am-12:20am, killed with O2
1:43am-2:03am, killed with O2, but now am getting exhausted and frustrated, so I decided that I wasn't going to use the O2 next time and got out my heating pad and fell back to sleep with it on my cluster side after making myself a mug of caffinated coffee.
3:30am-3:48am- turned the heating pad on at 3:30am and rode it till it was gone, was at a low enough Kip that I could stay laying on the pad.
5:05am-whenever I fell back to sleep with the heating pad again.

I had tried cold packs the nights before and they didn't help worth a squat, thus the heat.  My beast has morphed into something I am not familiar with, so Lord knows how tonights going to be. Undecided

I wish there were personal journals on here so I don't have to keep bumping up this thread, lol.

Anyway, I have been doing much thinking, and I believe I need to give up on the Taurine.  I was so sure that it'd work as a great prevent, but believe it may be working against me. Sad  Never in all the years I have had CH's have I EVER gotten hit as many times as I am now.   The only difference this time in my regimen is the Taurine supplements.

I swear I won't update this until a couple days have passed going Taurine free.  Please ignore this post as it's more for my documentation than to inform others of what I'm doing.  I feel like with all the med changes I am coming off as a hyperactive lunatic, but I gotta try things quickly to find the one thing that will help for the rest of the cycle.  I do plan on adding the Kudzu back in, and pray it doesn't take longer than a week to kick in.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Updating this thread/journal...

Jan. 18, 2009- took an afternoon nap, took about 2 hours to even fall asleep.  Then I woke with a CH and it lasted from 5:20pm-5:40pm.  No O2.  Then last nights events as follows: Began Kudzu regimen again (not taking Taurine anymore, I think it makes things worse) taking 2.4g at 8pm, then fell asleep at 10:30pm.  Woke with attacks 12:09am-12:17am (used O2, K2-3), 2:02am-2:24am (used O2, K8-9), then I took 2 Excedrin Migraine, said a prayer and went back to sleep.  Woke at 6am Jan. 19, 2009 this morning by my alarm.

Jan. 19, 2009- Went off all “treatments” (I.E. No Kudzu or Taurine)  Did take Excedrin Migraine throughout the day and some Alka Seltzer before bed.  Ended up with a rebound headache from hell. 8:28pm-8:39pm (O2), 9:43pm-10:36pm K10, O2 not working, was HORRIBLE, 1:19am-1:39am K7 (O2)

Jan. 20, 2009- no CH’s but developed a migraine instead.  Began around 5pm and lasted till 8am next morning (21st) when I took some Excedrin Migraine.  Only difference was taking Melatonin (9mg) at 8pm, 30min before bedtime.

Jan. 21, 2009- Took 9mg Melatonin before 10pm bedtime.  Woke 12:26am-12:48am (O2), 2:34am-2:48am (O2), 4:18am-4:35am (O2), 6am-6:30am (no O2)

Jan. 22, 209- 10:38pm-10:44pm (O2), 12:28am-1:00am (ran out of O2 during hit, rode out the rest, that SUCKED!!!), 3:46am-3:53am (O2), 5:28am-5:35am (O2), 7:30am-7:36am (O2).

Jan. 23, 2009- took ˝ a Relpax before bedtime.  Fell asleep around 8:15/8:30pm.  Woke with a CH at 9:18-9:33pm used O2.  Then slept and dreamed I woke up every hour with a CH until I really DID wake up with a CH at 12:23-12:30am (O2).  Then took the other ˝ of the Relpax.  Woke up at 4am with no CH, fell back to sleep and woke again with a CH from 5:03am-5:11am (O2).  Not sure how I feel this morning.  My head is still swimming and I want to go back to bed so bad, but I won't.

Jan. 24, 2009- took 1 full Relpax pill before bedtime (9:30pm), woke 2:36am-2:50am (K8 O2), 4:10am-4:32am (K8 O2), 6am-6:09am (K5 O2)

Jan. 25, 2009- 1 Relpax before 9:30pm bedtime, woke 1:43am-1:51am, 3:22am-3:34am, 4:32am-4:39am, 5:46am-5:56am, used O2 for all.

Jan. 26, 2009- I will be taking 1 Relpax before bed plus Diphenhydramine HCI (Simply Sleep) to try and prevent dreaming (REM sleep).
