Gary and I always loved dogs, but never had a schedule for one. Then a cat adopted us. And another one, and another one, and.... well - six years later, we have 7. And have rescued and rehomed hundreds. Started a no kill shelter. And two websites. Needless to say... we love cats. Grin

Was organizing photos... and realized WHAT a little helper our Sheldon is.

Those are so cute! Especially "deeping daddy's sandal warm" and "seeing no evil, hearing no evil". And asleep on daddy's coat is just precious.

Callie likes to help me make the bed up. She's convinced there are boogers in the bed under the sheets and she has to kill them all before I can finish making the bed up. We have four, two full-sisters, Callie and BB (Callie is a calico and BB is a snowshoe siamese) and then their half brothers who are full to each other, Graybaby and Littleboy (Graybaby is charcoal gray with lighter gray markings and Littleboy is a snowshoe siamese).

I love cats. I only have Max. Big neutered Tom. He's more than jut my pet though he's my familiar. (Witchy term)

He's only underfoot when I'm in the Kitchen cooking or it's breakfast or supper time for him.

It did take some training to get him to stop stepping on my face in the middle of the night. Nothing abusive mind you. I simply closed my bedroom door to not allow him in over night.

Only took 3 rounds of that for him to find his right place at the foot of the bed and not to climb on me in the night.

Tomorrow I need to go get him more catnip, I ran out. The store stuff seems rather weak compaired to the fresh that a co-worker had brought me that really sent the boy into a state of pure bliss.

Anyway, He's my baby, my friend.

I'm a guinea pig person, who liked dogs growing up and now adores cats thanks to one adorable creature called Kosh. Kosh, my former landlady's cat simply adopted me and when I went to visit London back in 2007, I went to visit him, too. Naturally he was too busy to show up... Grin

My cousin and her husband have 2 kittens right now. I can't wait to meet the "terrible duo" in person! They're ragdolls and I hear they're adorable.

Thank you, Frank. Your Kiki is cute. That is what I call "Scratch my belly, daddy!!!" I simply adore my kitty and love cats in general.

Langa--it was not a Siamese cat that attacked you, it was a cat trying to tell you he/she wanted your love and attention and that he/she was in charge...

I brush Buxton frequently to keep the shedding down. No hairballs for my kitty. And I bought him his own blankie that sits next to my pillow so he has a place to sleep next to me when I have my month of custody. [Me and my ex share custody.]

This is Etta, the youngling. She likes to hang with me--I can't go anywhere in the house without Etta turning up.

We have two others.

I can't find Podkayne, the tortiseshell. She hides in obscure locations throughout the day, drooling on her catnip-stuffed yarn monkey. Podkayne is a catnip junkie. She'll show up when it's time to eat.

All-black Fedora is old. She's sleeping now. I think she would prefer not to be photographed.
