When I traveled for work I was in the Catskill region for almost two years and fell in love with the area. Such a magical place for sure. Thanks for sharing. Love and miss you bunches.

The Egg's Nest is a great place for lunch/dinner before you head up to The Mohonk Mountain House for a day of hiking.

My friend, Merle owns this restaurant and she is heck of a wonderful lady.

The Ashokan Reservoir is also a great place to do some hiking and the village of Woodstock is a cool place to visit.
