Ron Paul's 'Revolution'
Jan 20th, 2009 at 1:42pm

I'm about halfway through Ron's new book and have been stirred by one particular topic: taxation. To date, I've been a strong supporter of the Fairtax (.org) and Ron's idea is to repeal the income tax and replace it with nothing. Nothing!

How can this be handled? Personal income tax accounts for 40% of the government's theft, errr, revenue. In order to reduce their budget by this 40% we would have to go back to.... 1997! The cost and size of government has grown that much in 12 years.

I don't know about you, but I'd be glad to party like it's 1997 if the entire nation's income tax were repealed! Long live the Republic.

Ron Paul was my write-in vote this year.

That rate of growth is amazing.  There is not accountability.

Unfortunately there is probably not enough uncommon  sense left in this country for people not to vote for who ever has the better TV ads.

Look how nice the GOP treated Ron Paul.  Angry

It's more like a ride at Disneyland than anything else, I'm afraid.

Charlie.....gotta like Ron Paul
