That's Mr. to you people.

Actually, it's short for Michael Robert. There was a Mike on the board when I joined. That led into the " M.R. Institute For The Mentally And Socially Maladjusted"

Mcintosh is my Surname, I always used call my kids, Leah Mac or Joise Mac  and stilly call Kirsty   -KirstyMac etc etc .

I started to use Mummymac for emais, Msn  etc when talking to the kids , so it stuck for computer use.

Helen I am still rolling around the floor from your story ,bloody brilliant. Grin

Great idea asking this question Christy.  Don't think anyone has ever done this before and I am really enjoying reading these.   Keep em coming folks.

Obviously I have nothing to explain about my screen name.   Huh

And all this time I thought your real name was
Glenda Gosgowitz . . . . .

I was lucky enough that when I came here, no one had taken my name, so therefore I am. Smiley

On other sites I am either Mellypoo or MellyF1992 (Melly nickname for Melissa, F is first letter of last name and 1992 is the year I graduated High School).

My first name is Sanna. My screenname, sandie99, comes from my nickname. My love for English language and oceans made my aunt call me "Sandy Beach" when I was about 10.

I kind of liked Sandy, but I liked Sandie even better, so that became my personal nickname. I added 99 in the end because I happen to like that number a lot. So there you have it. Very simple! Smiley

Back when I came here we just used our real names (most of us were too old to be real creative - shut up Chuck). I've been Barbara Dale (but old arthritis has forced me to sign things Barbara D and we've even gone down to BD lately) all my life so that's about all I'm capable of remembering at this age...

But lately I've had to come on here to remember who I am cause everyone around here calls me "Granny". Do you think I've lost what idenity I once had? Smiley

Hugs

obvioulsy my name is Kevin. Where does the Md come from... I am no doctor.  I highly doubt anyone here ever wondered if I was a doctor.  Especially after reading some of my posts. The MD comes from my middle and last initial.  Exciting.

When I first showed up I was DaddysDevil because I was here because/for my dad and powers know that I'm no angel. Smiley I left for a bit, which is a story left best alone, and when I came back I was feeling just as the name says, broken. It was a hard time in my life and I felt like I needed my cluster family more than ever right then. My favorite saying at the time was I'm already broken, I'm just waiting for the next step: to break down. Thankfully since then I've over come much of that dark past and am in a much brighter, less damaged place now. The scars are still fading but I just can't bring myself to change it. Besides, to many people know me as that now anyways.

Not so,
Broken

I can't even remember the first login I used way back when. It may have been Jen, or could've been an old screen name from chat.

When I came back in '04, I used JenniferD, but switched to PollyPocket (frankly so my boss wouldn't see my name splattered all over here during work hours!)

PollyPocket is, well.........I'm 4'  10 1/2".   Kinda fits me Smiley

My last name is Callison, properly pronounced as if it were Collison.  Most people mispronounce it as if it begins with Cal, so I used CalliCo Unlimited as a business name in another life (Callison Co) because of the name recognition with the cloth.  I used Callico Kid for a long time as a screen name, but after turning 50 my wife and kids didn't think I was a Kid anymore, so I shortened it.

My first and middle names are James Bradford, and in daily life I'm Brad. But, on a lot of sites I'm Kingjames, as I was when I started here. Well, as it turns out, there was some other 'King' around here who got fussy......so, out of deference to his advanced age, I shortened my name to KJ. Smiley

I took mine from my dog, Grace's *official registered* name was Silver's Delta Darlin.  I'm kinda sorta from the Delta and everybody knows that I'm 'darlin  Roll Eyes.

btw, JImbo is ~aka~PL259, and his comes from the name for a connector for RG8 coax.
