Took Zorro to the Vet today and the news wasn't good. His chest cavity was filled with air again. They do not know the cause. I'm having the vet do a chest puncture to relieve all the air that is in there and then I'm bringing him back home tonight. I can't afford to do this anymore. Cry

I've already spent more than I should have. This is such a difficult decision. He will be kept comfortable and loved for as long as possible. The vet said he may have up to a week. I'll have to keep an eye on his breathing and make that judgement.

Oh Beth, I'm so very sorry Sad

I know when Cisco was sick, we had to face that decision as well. After we spent way more money that we could afford on him, if he didn't respond they were going to ask us to make that decision. Cisco didn't last long enough for us to make it. It was one of the most devastating events in my life. I feel for you, my heart breaks for you.

Our pets are such loyal companions, and it is just devastating to have to go through things like this.
