Feb 1st, 2009 at 12:34pm

We'll be eating shrimp cocktail, guacamole and chips, sausage, cheese, crackers, and ice water.

And watching the CSI Marathon on Spike.

I would stay up and watch it, but this year none of the channels we have is showing it so I'll just catch the results tomorrow morning. It sucks, because it's been fun to watch it over the past few years... Sad

Going to a friends house:

Nacho chips with rotel and cheese
Smokies
Shrimp and bacon fried rice
buffalo chicken nuggets

I am making the latter two and I am excited to see if anyone else enjoys it.  I had better get cooking.

As for tailgating, yes they do and in New England we would get to the gate at 10am for a 1 pm game and the tail-gating ended around 6pm after dinner.  It was awesome!!!!!

The wife is cooking up a bunch of wings.  Some in soy sauce and some in Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce.

She's also making that asparagus quiche I posted a pic of last year.

Then there will be assorted dips and chips and ....

You get the idea  Cool

Spending the day with my oldest son, glued to the boob tube.

Filling our faces, drinking plenty, and smoking WAY too many cigarettes!

We already had our peek-a-boo egg lunch, need to refile my glass with OJ (or maybe break out the hard stuff: Dr. Pepper), and now we are back to watching the tube .. two episodes of House, and then two of CSI, and going back and forth between the two channels ...

What EXCITEMENT!

WHAT?  You never heard or had peek-a-boo eggs?

Before I tell you what they are, let me ask, does ANY
ONE else know what they are?

BTW, this is a legitimate, "G" rated topic ... (get your mind out of the gutter, Linda!!!  LOL)

WOW, Bill!  That is NOT the way I had them as a kid, nor the way I prepare them now.  But DAMN that looks good!

My method is much quicker, easier, and less messy.

You butter a piece of bread, and then cut/tear a hole in the center of it, the size of a yolk (I use a shot glass to press into it).  Then break an egg into a fairly hot frying pan, and then set the bread on top of it, with the buttered side up.  Cook for a few moments, then flip it over and cook a few moments longer (depending on how you like your eggs).

They look like this:
