OWWWWW...

So last night, as usual, Gordon was all over me as he slept.  We have a king size bed...jeesh.  And there is no waking up that man once he falls into a deep sleep.  And he rarely sleeps, so I figured, maybe if I shove him ever so lightly, he might move to his side...yeah right, All that did was have him up on me closer.  So I mean, between the leg over me, arm around me and under my waist, and his head in the crook of my neck, I woke up with a seriously stiff neck and drooled on neck and hair.

Then today I put Peanut on the leash (which is attached to the gate by the entrance to the house and walked inside) so she could do her business.  I went in to start dinner, and before I know it, Peanut is barking like a maniac.  When I went to see what was the racket about, I saw that she had walked into the middle of the yard, which is like an ice skating rink, and she couldn't come back.  She kept sliding backward.  Of course, I had to rescue my baby, so I put my boots on and sweater and go outside and tried pulling her up - she was choking, so I decided to go ice skating  Undecided.  Fell on my butt twice as I got to Peanut and unhooked her from the leash and then I started sliding to the bottom of the hill where I almost went through a bunch of tall bushes. Oh yeah, all this with Peanut in my arms.  Peanut had a look on her face like "this woman is going to killl us both"!

Anyway, I decided the best thing to do was to scream for Gordon to come and open the basement door...which took about 10 minutes.

I'm bruised and sore, and so happy I live in a very quiet neighborhood, because this would have been a good one for America's Funniest Videos.  Embarrassed

Discuss amongst yourselves - or not - just thought I'd share and maybe you can get a laugh, if nothing else, because Gordon found the whole thing quite funny...i'm going to bed...night...

Love y'all,
Langa

Sis, what amuses me the most is that you are PF and living life.  With all it quirks...to the fullest.

These are the days you need to remember,...if/when the beast returns, and the fight gets nasty again.

Remember they will return, with due dilligence, they will be defeated.  But it's these simple pleasure days....these simple frustration days,  that we will long for somwtime, and that will give us hope of what the simple things can be like.

Enjoy them...and may they be many in number forever.....and may the painful days never return.

Thanks Redd...funny you should say that.  Crystal has a journal of all "my plights".  She said she's getting it ready for me for when I get depressed...she said if I read the entries i'll start to laugh.

Thank you both for your kind words.  Forward and Onward...lol
