Puter help please!

My computer has been doing really weird things lately. For one thing, it will jump to the top of a page about the time I get to the bottom. Another is the wallpaper will stay on for a couple of days and then just disappear leaving a blue screen with the icons rearranged. And thirdly, the tool bar that I have set upon the bottom will change over to the side and will show folders as if I had opened "My Computer".

Is it demon possessed? How do I exorcise them? Is it a sign of pending death?

I know so little about this thing I don't even know how to ask questions. Embarrassed

Edited to add: are you using a new screensaver? The screensaver might be messing with your wallpaper.

Reply #12 - Feb 8^th, 2009 at 2:46am Sounds like your Active Desktop is being turned off for some reason. And your Tool Bar isn't locked. Have you run a system cleaner like CCleaner lately? to get rid of the crap in your system that might be screwing you up. Microsoft tends to collect shit after awhile.
