Thoughts and Prayers

My wife just left the dr's office and was told she would be lucky to make it to 32 weeks before giving birth. She is currently at 25 weeks. She has been put on bed rest, and by the end of the week may be put on bed rest at the hospital.

Neither of us are taking this very well. Our last daughter was born at 34 weeks and spent 3 weeks in the NICU, while there we saw 2 that didn't make it. Knowing that we are definitely going to be there again is very difficult.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Oh Chris, my heart is breaking for you two!! If there's anything I can do, anything at all, to help you guys out, you know my number, don't hesitate to use it.

You will be in our thoughts and prayers; Sending all the positive baby vibes and good health vibes I can your way;

Fubar - Shawn, and his wife, just went through a lengthy ordeal themselves with their twins; They lost their first pregnancy, and the 2nd was very touch and go. With the aid of all the positive energy, prayers and support from this family, along with a good helping of great medical care, they delivered 2 healthy beautiful babies that are doing great.

We will do no less for you and the little one waiting to join us in the world.

Now you listen up little one - that's quite enough of this - you will stay put, snug and cozy and safe in your Mommy's tummy until you are the very least 38 weeks - do you understand? There will be no argument, you just stay put there until we tell you it's ok to come out! Good, I knew you'd understand!

*hugs* Chris, hang in there. Call if you need anything at all.

I'm with Joe on this one.......I'll send streaming vibes, as will many here, if not all. Shawn's twins made it.. Potter's grandson got through a transplant-PLEASE, don't despair, Chris! There is HOPE....and Dennis will tell you, where there's life, there's HOPE!
Please feel free to rant and rave here, let us know how we can help, please......and, now....... read this quietly to this baby you're waiting to hold........

Dear baby....please stay right where you are for now......grow strong and healthy safe in your lil space so close to your MOmmy's heart. You are loved, and we are all looking forward to meeting you, but please, wait a while.

Update: Just came back from the doc, and she will continue 100% bed rest at home (her next visit is on Thursday. I am praying she stays out of the hospital.) They will be continuing to give Sarah Progesterone injecvtions once a week, and believe that may help prevent early labor, but we are still being told that our goal is 32 weeks.

Sarah's spirits are down, but I am continuing to encourage her every way I can. It's difficult being the supporter. I am going on my second PF day....it's been a while since I have seen those!

Please keep us in your prayers, and thank you for all of the kind words and prayers.

Her cervix grew from 2cm to 2.8cm. The doctor said he has never seen more improvement than .5cm. It was very positive news. She is still on bedrest and meds. It was a very good day!
