Honestly, two things in this thread made me feel uneasy.

Firstly you said it was tiresome reading all these posts about Jonny and expressing a wish that we dont talk about the matter anymore. Although I now see that there had been a lot of discussion about this matter in the Alumni Board ( I tried to post bail for Jonny but was given Alumni status instead ), there really have been only 2 short threads about it in the Main Board. People like me who for one reason or another can not be here every day, may not have the opportunity to express our opinion when the topic was still current. Should we forbid ourselves from saying what we feel we need to say just because regular others have already talked about it ?

The second thing was how Jimi jumped to the conclusion that Lip was Jonny or Jonny somehow coerced him into posting on his behalf to show disrespect to DJ and Steph. I found this coming from a Moderator a little disappointing. I understand that it is very hard being a Moderator as you have to make judgement and sometimes judgement can be wrong despite all care taken. I know Jimi has apologised and I think he is a great man. However, I hope that Moderators take the time to check things out before publically posting something like that in the Main Board. In my opinion, thats similar to calling someone a name, in an indirect way.

I may need to state that I have not been able to talk to Jonny at all, either on the phone or via emails and he has had no say about what I have done or posted here. Everything was done out of care and concern for a great friend and I would do the same for any of my other great friends here should the situation arises. I have taken good care to not do it in a disrespectful manner to anyone, especially DJ and Steph, but if anyone thinks I am out of line please tell me, thank you.

Jonny is a GOOD man. It is as simple as that ! When I first came here he welcomed me with open arms. He is the backbone of this site--and if he's not here--neither am I.
