I agree, Mel.  It seems that CH has a way of trying to rob us of every pleasure.     While in cycle I have to stay away from SO MANY of my favorite things.   It sucks!

Well, instead eating the MSG loaded stuff, do like I and eat the excellent Swiss chocolate. It never triggers me  Tongue

Luckily I don't like chocolate, and besides, once in cycle, pretty much everything is a trigger.  Embarrassed

*sigh*  it just sucks. Sad

I made a batch of heart shaped chocolate chip cookies for Eli's Valentine's party tomorrow.  I knew I shouldn't have eaten any, but I just couldn't help myself.  I ate 3 of them and shadowed for a good 2+ hours afterwards.  (still getting them, but they're going slowly down)

grrrrrrrr!!! Angry

OMG Melissa,

Sorry to hear that. I'd be in a world of hurt if chocolate triggered my CH's. Fortunately it doesn't bother me at all.

I'd share my Milky Way with you but......      Cheesy

Charlie and Pat - I don't like chocolate either!! LOL

It makes me pretty poorly though, can't tolerate it so I think that's a part of my dislike. Coffee however, I couldn't live without. I'm really missing dunkin donuts coffee too, it's one thing we don't have here. Starbucks but not Dunkin.   Cry

Smells are my worst trigger, petrol and paint, acetone - anything strong smelling. Barometric changes affect me alot too and also, silly as it sounds, bending down will do it too. Crying? Yup I can vouch for that one too Jen. Alcohol doesn't affect me but then, when I'm going through a getting hit a lot stage it's the last thing I could face either so it's kind of a moot point.

Just don't anyone EVER tell Jabs' chocolate might one day be a trigger for him! He'd never forgive me! (That child can eat chocolate faster than the man can make it!)

Mel, that is terrible... Sad

Aguess that explains why I got some of my hits back in UK; I ate chocolate like there was no tomorrow back then. I probably ate my lifetime's supply of it, because I've been pretty much avoiding it and other kinds of candy ever since.

I doubt it.  But it makes sense that it is more common in women clusterheads than in men clusterheads.  I have a theory about it - a rather convoluted web that involves estrogen, progesterone, fatty acid amide hydrolase, N-acyltaurines, and my own sexist (but objective) construct of the world.... women are programmed to eat chocolate for a reason.   Maybe I'll expand some other day ...

Well given that chocolate is allegedly a replacement for  Lips Sealed - maybe "expanding" isn't QUITE the turn of phrase you want?!!  Grin (and THAT can be a trigger too I've heard!) Only teasing!!!

I've searched for several napkins with an unladylike overstuffed mouthful to swipe dark chocolate from a big shit-eating grin for an area around including my nose.  It has a later effect.    Smiley
