And then on to Lake D'Arbonne, it is a state park and has miles and miles of walking trails.  The walking trails are marked by flags and an occasional marker on a tree.

Carolyn, again you sure have feeling in your pics, thanks. Spring looks pretty nice with all the new growth. We are still only about half way through our winter here. Tongue

Oh man...I'm so jealous.  The sun is out here today but it's only 19.  There is nothing pretty to take 'images' of....just piles of dirty snow and mud.  Come on Spring!!!

As always your pictures are beautiful.  I love seeing them.  Thanks!

I'm not going to tell you what Blake called the guys in the bass boat.  Lips Sealed  I think he's bit jealous too...LOL

Tell BB's human I said hello...... Smiley

Love to you all...
Jackie

I just looked them up thanks, you learn something new every day. We don't get anything like that here, so I find them quite strange and very different Smiley

Spring has sprung here, I guess ... Typical of Eastern North Carolina weather, for this time of year: In the 70's one day .... Down into the 30's/40's the next day ...

Hell, we even had a snow storm, that shut the state down, once, this year!  A whole FOUR INCHES of that nasty shit fell!  I am so glad that it only snows every other year, here.

COME ON SUMMER!!!

Chuck, the snow hater

(BTW< Make sure your toitel is well hidden!)

Nice, Carolyn. I've always been really interested in the swamp/bayou areas. I was totally stunned at the stark beauty I saw driving through a tiny portion of Atchafalaya swamp area down south along I-10. Took a few side trips but I want to get deeper into the swamp.

Gotta get down there and spend some real time.
