Sorry it has taken so long, but after spending quite a bit of time editing and trying to resize these pics on Photobucket they still transfer full size and to large for the screen. Going full screen helps. Sorry I don't know what else to do.

Rob with his sister Sarah. She is going to be very lonesome with both Rob and Michael leaving. She is very close to Rob. (I think she thought she was a princess getting to be a Bridesmaid.)

The Groom's cakes. Both were hand decorated by a woman who is a wizard with icing! That is not an overlay, but each color of icing is laid on over the previous one. She even put his stripes on his sleeves on the side of the cake, and all of the medals are accurate as to size and colors.
Note the statue in the background. Also in the next pic.

I posted this pic a couple of years ago, but since it was on the wedding table I include this pic again. Rob posted for this statue which is cast in bronze by Doug Young of Greenville, SC. He is a very talented sculptor and a good friend. We roomed together one year in college. He got the idea for the statue and contacted the Marine Corps Reserve unit in Greenville to get a couple of Marines to model for him. It was not until after they were done posing that Doug found out Rob is my son! Rob is the Marine carrying the fallen Marine over his shoulder. The piece is titled "Men of Valor", and is way out of my price range although I would love to have one. Doug goes to the same church as Leah's parents and just brought it to decorate the table on his own. I couldn't have been more honored.

On their way.
I hope you don't mind my bragging, but I could not have been more proud of my son, not as a Marine, but as a man. He and Leah have been dating for over four years, and have been very serious about each other for over three years. During that time he had to drop out of school for a year to work, lost a year of being together due to deployment, had to stay out of school this year due to returning home to late to enter, and could enter second semester due to getting married. It would have been easy for him to give in to the frustration of waiting, but during the whole time he respected Leah's father's restrictions and behaved himself as a gentleman. That takes character! I am proud to say that my son is a MAN.
