There's a bunch of definitions. I call it the feeling where I get the CH "twinge"....the feeling that it's coming on. I feel the CH type pain start to build, but it never gets above a 3 or so. I can feel the beasts claws in the back of my brain, but he can't quite get a grip on me. That's how I describe them. They hurt, but they're not the butt kickers.

I've just realised that I've been getting these, I've been having this about an hour before my main attack kicks off ieach evening, but also during the day too - can you get shadows at other times and not have a full blown CH follow?

I shadow quite a lot.  Even while out of cycle.   They do not result in a full blown attack and they go away after a while.  Once in a while they manifest into a rouge lower level hit.    When in cycle, I alternate between shadows and hits constantly.

Sometimes drinking an energy drink like Red Bull will chase the shadow away.

I love the Red Devils!  Nice to see other UTD fans here.

Too bad they aren't televised that much in the states without buying a special cable package Sad

I haven't had a hit in over a week, but I'm still left with a few shadows here and there.

The lil bastards are kinda like "woman cramps"

You get em before, during, and after. Smiley

I get shadows which last for days.  The peak and ebb but never really seem to leave.

I find Oxygen can help with shadows too.  Usually 10 minutes @ 15lpm will do the trick.

Sometimes shadows can just as bothersome as the real thing.  Not in terms of pain level but just because they linger so long.  They can really take the fun out of things.

Where there is life, there is hope.
Where there is Oxygen, you must use proper caution.
So be safe, don't smoke while using O2. Kill the pain and not yourself.
