My comment, though brief is this:

If you obey the "golden rule" you will be okay.  For your convience, here it is "Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself".

Without further comment on those who are being diciplined.  I respect the board as a safe place.

Wishing you all well,

Ray

One sad truth though is some people think it's okay to have all types of vile and despicable things done to themselves.

just a thought.

Has this site become THAT bad. Hope the person seeks medical attention. Sounds pretty serious.  Huh

Victimized is a highly exaggerated description of a situation where someone was forced to log in and made to read a thread reply of their own free will?

Yer kiding me, right?

Rolo/BlueMeanie:  Do either of you know what actually happened?  or are you both trying to stir up stuff about a SPECIFIC event you know nothing about?

Just wondering.

I know enough to know it is petty compared to CH pain and that this site has become a drama battlefield that will not go quietly into the night while we the afflicted continue to suffer. Before computers were in every house in the community, this would be just another evening at home tending to the family in the kitchen, and not the World Wide Web.

3 warnings from 3 people who are not moderators. Guess I was disrespectful. No, I wasn't talking about a SPECIFIC event. Just a generalization from what I am seeing with this new kindler/gentler board.

Have a good day !

To translate, you have no idea what happened and therefor maybe you should find out before starting to make waves for no reason or leave this alone.

Just a friendly suggestion.

You replied to a quote about a specific event which you do not know about (you quoted it).  I think you probably would be better served to have made a general comment WITHOUT quoting a post about a specific circumstance.

I never warned you.  I just asked a question.

Did I defend Jonny for something? I have no affiliation with the root of the thread, I simply was trying to affirm my understanding of the original purpose for this site? It was a general statement reflecting the current mood of this thread. If you want to twist it into my ignorance of the originating offence, that is of you own provocation.

""Victimized is a highly exaggerated description of a situation where someone was forced to log in and made to read a thread reply of their own free will?""

What does this have to do with the mood of the thread or the intent of the site??

Sounds like a person commenting about a situation he doesnt know about.

Tony, did the person walking down the street have to log into a computer and post on a public forum to be exposed to the incoming gunfire in a unsolicited manor or did they put on their vest and enter dangerous territory? LOL it is what it is and no one was victimized. One must be injured in some way or deprived of what they are due to be a victim. It is silly to use victimization in response to a comment virtually or on the street of life.
