Feelin guilty
Mar 13th, 2009 at 6:41pm

Hi everyone,

I have not abandoned the forum... I have not posted any updates in Donnas testosterone thread the last couple of weeks as i just feel a little guilty posting anything... guilty for being pain free when i know so many of you are truly suffering... and I realise that testosterone therapy only works for a select few intractables like myself, so I hate to keep reminding everyone on how well I am doing when I know full well that I do not have an answer to help the rest of us/you CH sufferers.
I still check in and follow the posts but now feel sorta like an outsider even tho no one has made me to think that.

I guess it is a guilt problem in my head that I must now grapple with now that the meds are out of my system and the pain is gone...my fingers are crossed that my therapy continues to hold, because nothing ever has.

I truly hope you all find some relief or some time of peace in your heads..these weeks that i have enjoyed have been life changing in so many ways.

Hang in there folks and I will continue to watch and read this forum and pray for relief for you.

Paul

Eh, don't feel guilty for being PF. I was looking at my remission going to 5 years, then a few days ago, there was a knock on my door. So now I'm back in cycle.  That's just the way things go - be thankful when life is good, and if you know something that can help others, share it.

Paul... yes! It is good that you feel guilty. My mother (the ninja master distributor of guilt) would be pleased that you thrash about feeling so guilt trodden. God rest her soul, I can feel her smiling as she watches over my shoulder reading your thread. Guilt is good.

if for no other reason it inspires you to check in with us.

Seriously... I'm thrilled beyond words to know that you have found something that is thus-far working for you!!! I would like to encourage you to continue sharing your experiences here with others who testosterone therapy may also work for... ya never know!

at any rate... it's good to see you again... <channeling my mother>even though... you never call... you never write... lord knows we could be laying here dead... and do you care? </channeling my mother> Cheesy

with warm regards,
Tony

No need whatsoever to feel guilty for being PF, Paul.  Yeesh.  It's what everyone here would like to be.  Stories like yours give hope to others.

Who knows?  If you continue to update us on your progress with this (obviously very successful) therapy, you may save someone else a world of pain someday.

That would be cool.

All the best,

George

Paul, just be thankful that all you have in your head is a guilty feeling and NOT that other feeling. Know what I mean? I'm really happy for you, brother.
I too had a time of piece for a while but now they're back. What a bummer. Over 30 years and still counting. Keep the faith and enjoy a pain free life. Get some good restful sleep!

Glad it's still working Paul.  Just upped the dose on mine, and hope it does as well for me as it did for you.  I have had a very marked improvement since starting, so I have hope.

Hang around.  We can always use another on the oars.  Charley is still here, and I'm grateful for him.  I know there are a few others also, but can't lay a name on them at the moment.
