Not in Illinois it ain't. And I'm not even going to start on the $9 billion deficit Blogo added to while he was bribing people.

Isn't Illinois where they coined the phrase..."vote early and vote often!"  Wink

It is also the state that has a bill under consideration to require a $1 million insurance policy for all gun owners.  (No such policies are available)

Free???

Look on the bright side Jerry. The definition of a gun, other than a shotgun, or a machinegun is a weapon with a bore over 105 mm. Which leaves out most of the pistols and rifles you run across in IL. So that piece of legislation is going to be moot, when or if it ever gets passed.
By the way. Whats the bill's name and number?

It's not right, but there is a bill under consideration in Illinois that would require anyone with a foid card to carry a million dollar insurance policy.  Foid cards are issued by the State Police.  What should take 30 days to process, is now taking 90 days or longer.  Hunters in this area are not happy.  It's only going to get worse.  There is already an ammo shortage in the area.
