Had to ask for deferments at Uni.

Thanks to those headaches....I suddenly reaslised I only had two weeks in which to write five uni assignments before easter. It was all I could do to crawl in for some of the lectures and try and read some of the books never mind plan research and assignments.

Thankfully the Headache clinic offered to write in support of requests for deferment and its been accepted but *oooooooooooooohhhhhhhh* how I hate having to admit defeat because of this and accept the deferments.

Shut up. It's not defeat. It's merely postponed victory.

WinkI know but I am normally far more ahead of myself than this to allow for nasty heads. This year I fluffed it but I also spent four weeks without any preventatives at the insistence of the neuro so he could then try the drugs that might be of more help. Played hobb with me.
The Autumn special was absolute murder and stopped me catching up before spring hit.

Today though I just noticed all the colours have switched to migraine brights.  Smiley I am getting nasty 'eye headaches' and that funny pins and needles feeling with icepicks that happened for a week last time as the CH switched on and off and the migraine came back instead.
Quite looking forward to having a migraine again just so I can take rizatriptain, naproxen, domperidone possibly topped with solphadol and curl up in a bed and go to sleep

My respect for all those who live with this in its chronic form - all I can do is salute them.

Your neuro sounds like a sadist.

Nope; he was just shocked at the pick and mix approach my old GP had opted for instead of sending me back to a neurologist as I was begging him to do for months.
There should be a special circle of hell for GPs who refuse to refer people on with suspect CH and just add more and more drugs to an ever more toxic mix.
