son is injured
Mar 21st, 2009 at 9:52am

My son Chris who is in the Marine Corps injured a tendon or ligament while at the gym.  His Corporal noticed him limping while running and sent him to medical.  Where they diagnosed the problem and sent him to physical therapy for right now.  Hopefully he wont need surgery.  I just pray that the Marines are understanding, patient and dont medically discharge him for this.

Meanwhile I have been busy babysitting my grandaughter Lila while her parents work.  They determined that they couldn't afford childcare and both parents have to work to make the house payment so Grandma comes to the rescue.  What a bundle of joy she is.

I hope Chris heals and they don't discharge him.

What a blessing to spend so much time with little Lila.  They are a lot of work but they are so worth it.

Healing vibes to your son Karla, and you are so wonderful to help out your children with the babysitting. There is nothing better than leaving the kids with a grandma while you work. Total peace of mind, that  Smiley

They shouldn't give him a medical discharge unless the damage was so severe that it handicaps him.  Especially if they don't have to do surgery.

Will be praying for a quick recovery.

Enjoy that Grandbaby!  I hardly get to see my grandson.  I'm jealous!

I am sure they will first evaluate his health problem and then go with that.  If he is in basic this will probably put off his graduation date.  I will pray for a steady quick recovery...

and I too never get to enjoy my grandkids... enjoy that sweet girl.  Keep us posted...

I really must check in more often.

Marines are on the tough side and I hope he's still young enough to be "rubbery" at his age.

Hoping for a fast recovery.
