Are these clusters?????
Mar 31st, 2009 at 7:37pm

Hi,
Does anybody wake up with clusters?? Not a cluster waking you up??
I have now been waking up with headaches for 6 weeks now. I have had some whoppers in between. I have been to the ER. They gave me oxygen and I was a new person. I also have had a headache all day long today. It will not leave me. It was very bad for say an hour, but it was no where near the whopper that sent me to the ER. Oh well just curious to see if anybody has ever heard of this. I can barely peel my head off my pillow in the morning. Prior to my O2 my headaches were different. They were on the right side temple eye area. A burning feeling across my forehead and shooting pains on my right side. Now since to 02 my entire head just throbs. Also during my whopper I did not want to bang my head anywhere. I was paralyzed with pain I could not even speak. I just wanted to be put in a coma. I know these sound like migraines and I get migraines but never like this. Oh all my test came back good. I would say I had the worst sinus headache of my life if I did not already have them checked. OK so just wondering if you guys ever heard of this????? I want my life back. My son just asked me to go for a bike ride, and I said mommy has a headache he replied you always have a headache.

About 3 - 6 times during the night I wake up to find myself already sitting up in bed with tears streaming!  The clusters do wake you up!  Mine feel like brain freeze that goes on forever.  I keep an oxygen tank within arm's reach right next to my bed, and this usually alleviates it, until I fall asleep again and it starts all over.

On the left of the page is a tab, cluster quiz. Take it.Then read the oxygen info tab. Educate yourself from this site and plan a course of action.
Ask questions here and they will be answered by people in the know.
All the best.

they wake me up every night,  about 5-10 times, in agonizing pain.  Also, have a constant lower grade headache, never goes away fully.  Sounds like you have the symptoms of CH, but I doubt it was the O2  Kiss Kissthat caused your lingering headaches,  that is probably just the shadows, that you will hear about on this site.

Good luck, and find a good headache specialist
