The trauma of a haircut
Apr 9th, 2009 at 9:02pm

Had a bit of a trim today
And in the immortal words of Crosby Stills Nash and Young
Almost cut my hair,
The missus did
It happened just the other day,
Well today actually
it’s gettin kinda long,
Hasn’t been like that for a long time
I coulda said it wasn't in my way,
Nope!!
But I didn't and I wonder why,
Well she did
I feel like letting my freak flag fly,
I do now!
Cause I feel like I owe it to someone,
To help blend the thin bit around my ear
Must be because I had the flu' for Christmas,
Didn’t have a problem then.
And I'm not feeling up to par,
You can say that again
It increases my paranoia,
It sure does
Like looking at my mirror and seeing a police car,
The hair police
But I'm not giving in an inch to fear,
Already given more than an inch
Cause I missed myself this year,
What!!
I feel like I owe it to someone,
Should have paid
When I finally get myself together,
Staying in for a while
I'm going to get down in that sunny southern weather,
Fat chance its raining
And I find a place inside to laugh,
Might do in a few weeks
Separate the wheat from the chaff,
No training, what did I expect
I feel like I owe it to someone,
Myself really

What a trim..

Van gogh springs to mind
Pardon!, what!
Julie?,
Oh!
Susan why didn't you say,
you need to speak up.
After the trimming of the eyebrows, ears, neckhair, nasal hair,
Fraid I missed the photo shoot,
Certainly no scantily clad females hanging around with pearly white teeth and an abundance of enduring memories

"Somebody had to say it" is usually a piss poor excuse to be mean.
