All done in conjunction with Teresa's race on June 12.

So I guess it's all her fault. Wink

My fault - I'll take the blame.

I'm hosting the 50/50 raffle at the racetrack that night - OUCH gets the money!!

So, originally, Jon wasn't sure if he'd be able to make it to the race on Friday. But the other plans he had seem to have fallen through. I can't say for certain that he will be there, but I should at least get the opportunity to show you guys that he isn't just a figment of my imagination!  Cheesy Cheesy

Less than 2 weeks!! SOOO excited! I can't wait to see everyone!

I guess I may have to get my ghostbusters outfit out. Looks like a ghost may be in attendance.

If he's imaginary, that's fine. I can deal with that.

But if he's real, what's he bringing as a dish to pass?

Announcing a southeastern Wisconsin Meet & Greet!

Brew and Mosaicwench will be hosting a meet and greet for any interested clusterheads on Saturday June 13, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

The night before, June 12, alienspacebabe’s (Lizzie’s) daughter Teresa, will be racing at the Madison International Speedway in Oregon, WI. Several clusterheads from out of town (waaayyyy out of town) will be coming in to see her race, and we just couldn’t let that opportunity go without planning a little cookout and fun time together. We will supply the meat, buns, plates, napkins, cups, etc., Lizzie will supply soft drinks, you can bring your own libations, and we will ask that you bring a dish to pass.

If you’d like to attend, please send a PM to me or Mosaicwench by June 5, 2009 to let us know how many people will be in your party. In return, we’ll send you directions and what category of passable dish to bring (side, salad, pasta, dessert, etc.). It would be fine with me if we end up with 23 pans of brownies, but staring at a couple thousand pickle spears can be a little disheartening.

Can’t wait to see you!

What would be shocking is If I could attend AND bring a date....

The whole world paradigm  would have to shift to make THAT  happen,  but I just had to chime in.  I Wish I could be there...........

Here's who's coming so far:

Brew, Mosaicwench, JrBrew, and JrBrew's GF
Melissa and Jesse
Jimi and Ruth
alienspacebabe, Teresa, and Teresa's imaginary friend, Jon
Kilroy 2.0 and Thomas
lashultz & lashultzswfe
Jimyhertz
Racer1_NC
slhaas and Dawn (possible - driving back from Colorado that day)

Woobie reports that she and Cerebus will not be able to attend due to the fact that Cerebus' grandmother just passed away, and they are on their way to Winnipeg for the funeral.

Jackie and Blake will not be able to attend because, well, they're Jackie and Blake and have a zillion things going on, not the least of which is a high school graduation for some dear family friends.

If anyone knows of anybody I've left off this list, please let me know. Thanks! Can't wait to see you all!

Unfortunately Dawn and I will not be able to attend, due to being in Colorado.  I really wish we could've pushed things off to a different date as to fit both on the schedule, but it didn't work.  Perhaps I'll host the next SE Wisconsin M&G.

Well, if you want a leftover bratwurst for lunch next week (hint: they don't last long), you'll have to come over and meet my family.
