anybody knows generic depakote?

depakote is around 300 dollars and i need generic of it, please somebody tell me if there is one

Apparently there is, or soon will be, a generic equivalent.

Yes. There is a generic Depakote. My son takes Depakote for reasons not related to this site, but last month we were suddenly given a generic instead of the name brand.

The generic name is:

Divalproex

We had to get a script that said Depakote was medically necessary. The Divalproex did not help my son. Not to say that it doesn't work. It just didn't work for him.
