"The Department of Homeland Security is warning law enforcement officials about a rise in "rightwing extremist activity," saying the economic recession, the election of America's first black president and the return of a few disgruntled war veterans could swell the ranks of white-power militias."

There is no credible proof or empirical data to support this liberal cerebral flatulence... Napolitano is a threat to the security of the United States and Obama must ask her to step down. If your Senators and Congressmen who voted for the porkulus package without reading it do not call for her removal, call them and tell them to check out an orange jump suit and start working on their perp walk...

I saw the write up about the shift in focus for DHS and I think EVERY American should be afraid....very afraid. This administration and congress is becoming afraid of its citizens yet they let our boarders leak like a sieve, turn a blind eye to sources of real trouble (N. Korea, Iran etc.) and want to reduce our military.

I don't think it does. People who live within the law are not a problem. Those that threaten others, harass and intimidate, shoot people they disagree with, or bomb their political opponents are a challenge to the rule of law.

You tried to reduce this concern to "partisan hack thinking." Yet the report itself quotes the FBI from 2008 as concerned with the threat - that was before Obama was in office. Even Tim Geithner could make big profits paying 1% on CDs while lending that money out in mortgages earning 5-6%. Holman Jenkins, in fact, reported this was developing weeks ago in his column in the Wall Street Journal.

This is developing even before Treasury Secretary Geithner could get his recently announced $1 trillion bank bailout up and running. That bailout is now completely unnecessary! Yes, there are still a lot of toxic mortgage related assets on bank balance sheets, and outstanding adjustable rate mortgages could add still more. But with the wide spreads banks are now earning, at current interest rates, banks don’t need any further taxpayer help to deal with it.

To the contrary, the big problem for banks right now is that the Obama administration is refusing to allow banks to pay back their TARP bailout funds!

Obama and his powermongers are doing that because when a bank receives taxpayer funds, the administration uses that as a reason for controlling the banks, just as they used the auto bailout as the justification for dismissing GM Chief Rick Waggoner and the company’s Board of Directors in an effective complete takeover.

The banks want to give back TARP $ but the Gov won't let them. The Obama fascist regeim wants to keep control of the private industry they have used my tax dollars to buy an interest in. It's no longer "power to the people", it's take power from the people, and give it to the Government.

I realize the term postmenopausal may appear inappropriate so forgive me if I've offended anyone at that stage of life. It's just a fact... Having spent the better part of a year on a postmenopausal regimen of fosamax and hormones to repair the damage done by nearly two years of taking prednisone... I know what it's like to be called postmenopausal... and at my age... it's no big deal...

Having said that, the fact remains true when one recalls the last left-wing postmenopausal political hack in a previous left-wing administration who pulled similar stunts only using real bullets against people in the US... "Shoot'em-Up" at Ruby Ridge and Waco Attorney General Janet Reno... You begin to see the classic liberal MO all over again...

The Marxist trained community organizer and his Chief of Staff, "Dead Fish" Emanuel, were well aware of all the Tea Parties planned for today that must have had them loading their pants...

Accordingly, they let DHS (Napolitano) launch the first salvo of radical left cerebral flatulence at Conservative Americans... by saying anyone opposed to abortion, amnesty for illegal aliens, runaway spending and over taxation is a far right wing radical....

And... when the Marxist trained community organizer gets done with his out of control spending during his first term, the National debt will double and so will the tax that 20 year old will pay over his or her wage earning career...

And Oh By The Way... I'm still waiting to hear the liberal rationale for the deaths of 50 Million American babies through abortion when less than 3% were due to the health of the mother... You can't answer that can you?

But I'll bet you're proud that Kathleen Sebelius, the 44th Governor of Kansas, who as Governor, vetoed every bill that would have protected the rights of the unborn, is going to be HHS... and guess what she is?
