Paul,

Thanks for the link...  The photos of Saturn, its rings, and moons are fascinating.

You love lots of things if you live around them. But there isn't any woman and there isn't any horse, that’s as lovely as a great airplane. If it's a beautiful fighter, your heart will be ever there

Stunning.  I've been a space geek since the onset of space exploration. I still have all of the news papers from the Apollo days.

What amazes me more is that we human animals figured out how to send our robots outward and returned these images back to us on Earth.

Galileo Galilei could only ponder what Saturn looked like up close. In the book, The Privileged Planet, the authors lay out a case that we Humans have figured out how "it" all works and it is due to our advantageous position in the Milky Way, the position of the Moon and many other seemingly coincidental conditions.  The bottom line in their thesis is that we Humans were meant to discover it all and that it is impossible to disabuse the possibility that a God had a hand in the placement of our tiny rock in the boundless Universe.

We are not ordinary.

Thanks for posting the pictures.

Stunning photos,  but how can a camera take photos that clear from so far away, my brain struggles to make sense of it all.

But it might seem that if they chose to for certain reasons, any and all advanced civilizations could rationalize their own set of seemingly coinincidental conditions that brought about growing into their environment, different than ours but all possibilities of the universe.  We've yet to compare stories, be them similar circumstances or other ways of life.
