That is beyond reprehensable.  No plea bargains, no early parole, no easy time.  If true, these low lifes deserve hard time...

I sure hope they get what they deserve!

Unfortunately, I once saw, of a case where that did NOT happen.  There was a boy, I think he was about 5 years old, who was put in the middle of a nasty divorce and custody case.  Not unusual, unfortunately.  The father took the boy for a visit, and brought him to a motel room, doused him with gasoline, and then set him on fire.  The father SAYS that he was going to do the same to himself, but chickened out, after he set the boy on fire.

The father basically got his wrist slapped for destroying the boys life.  He got some small prison time and then a year or two of probation.  That was IT!!!

Several years after this happened, I saw the boy, in the burns hospital that I was visiting in my clown persona.  The boy looked terrible!  He still had very little face, his whole upper body was mutilated.  It was very difficult to spend time with him, entertaining him, and yet keeping my happy clown face on.  I had to leave the room, to gain some sort of control of my emotions.  Clowns aren't suppose to cry ...

By the time I saw the child, the father was through with his whole punishment ... I am STILL (over 30 years later) FURIOUS that the father got off so lightly!

Let's hope this doesn't happen in this case!
