Exhausting
May 10th, 2009 at 4:41pm

I am in about three months time on remission.No.Let me rephrase it better.
IT'S THERE.But nothing more than kip 1-3 maybe a 4 once in two weeks and rarely a kip 5.
I am taking the DHE pill at first sign along with energy drinks
Vitamin D 2OOO mg every day.
I have no idea what's going on.I don't know if it is the vitamin D or the DHE pill or whatever but i haven't felt so good in years.
On the other hand IT'S THERE!reminds me that it still exists.
So i am constantly on guard and self observation attidute and it is Exhausting!!I always was but now it's like the damn thing is laughing on me.
During Easter time i took the beer test. And the Vodka test. And the tequila test. And passed each of them.I have no Idea what's going on.

The one option i think is whether vitamin D is doing something and maybe for the first time can see things getting better in long terms
or it's gonna hit hard again and kill all hopes. It can't be low cycle cause even in low cycles i always had a crisis of kip 8 and higher
every once and a while.
On the other hand in 2007 i had a four months total remission with no shadows at all as exception and every year i have a two or hardly 3 or four weeks remission period during september or August.

Thanks for listening and sorry for the rambling.
wanted to steam a little and i know you are the one that can understand(my english still suck! Tongue)

PF wishes to everyone

Don't feel sorry for rambling. I hope it made you feel better!

Good to hear you're not in so much pain. But I can imagine it must be draining to, even when you say you feel good, you still have the Beast breathing in your neck. I hope you can get rid of him very soon!

And one thing I've picked up around here is that the Beast sure likes to mess with you, especially when you think you've figured him out.  Angry

When I got out of my cycle last spring/early summer, I had lingering shadows for I think a month or two. Not very painful, but the fact is you are aware of it 24 hours a day so to speak. Never had it that long before, and I'm still not sure why it stayed so long this time.
However, I managed to break the shadows by dosing twice on mushrooms, and it did help.

You're topic title is very suiting in regard to the constant shadowing. Exhausting indeed.

Hope you get some rest in your skull soon mate.

Pascal.

Yeah it is kind of frustrating black.  You're right in that every time you have a twinge in your temple or your eye socket, while you're headache free, you can't help but get nervous, wondering if you're going into another cycle.  CH oftentimes breaks the rules.

For example, I thought I had my cycle spacing figured out to be about 10 months.  WRONG!!  According to that premise, I should have started a new cycle last September or October at the latest.  As it was, I didn't start a cycle until late November, and it was a pretty nasty one until my Neuro got it under control in the 2nd week of December.  By the end of December, even the the Kip 4s were gone.  So I figured I was home free until at least Fall 2009.  Wrong again!  I started another cycle in March (the first time I've ever had CH in March).  It looked like the Lyrica I've been taking for the past 3 weeks was doing the job.  Other than shadows during the day, my usual after bedtime attacks were blunted down to Kip 3 or 4, and were only noticed by me if I woke up to go to the bathroom.  They were easy enough for me to ignore, and I would just go back to sleep (typically in less than 5 minutes) after going to the bathroom, without having to use an abortive.  Well, I had a major Kip 7 attack last night, that I couldn't ignore.  I took my Migranl, and the Ch went away in about 5 minutes .  That was great.  But, I wasn't expecting a major CH attack after 3 weeks of being relatively pain free.  I hope that was an isolated incident, and that tonight I'm pain free.  But it is unsettling, because when things like that happen, you can't help but wonder/worry that the "rules" of the headache cycle have changed for the worse.

It's comforting and decreases this feeling of isolation with the beast.
