OK, noone has brought it up, so I'm going to!
First off, I am ashamed that I got sucked into that crap!
That confession made, I did follow the damn show, right to the finish, and y'know what? I have absolutely NO respect for the Donald (save for his hairstyling, which defeats all laws of gravity)or the Rivers Twins (Joan and Melissa).....mother/daughter team who let fly all sorts of racist and offensive comments  from their mouths(not to mention how they can turn things around). If I were to have made statements such as those, I would be sanctioned, possibly jailed, and never work again in RE.
Is this what Corporate America has come to? I know that, to succeed, one must be ruthless, eye-on-the-prize, focused, and not be concerned what happens to others in the bargain, but what about morals? At the end of the day, these people have to sleep, and, in all conscience, Joan's bed must be made of nails.......
NEVER again will I watch such crap..and I will never again support Donald, Joan or Melissa........and I will DOUBLE my visits to Las Vegas to support those "low-life gamblers".and I'll just betcha the Rivers Twins will not be headlining there any too soon!
Ahh, it's all about ratings.........or am I the only one who feels that way?

O man Cathi!  I never watch this show, but last night, I tuned in by mistake.  I wish I had seen what you are talking about, I found it pretty entertaining, but with distractions at home, I missed a lot of what was being said.  I think Joan was being DRAMATIC anyhow, and a lot of what she said rubbed me the wrong way!

I can't believe she won, the other team raised so much more ~ isn't $$$$ AND power what it's all about?  Looks like it's about the MOUFS to me!

You answered your own question Cathi.

Of course it is all about ratings.

The show does create a lot of money for their charities so I guess there is some good to it.

PS.....I must confess....I watched it all season long too. Smiley

.and friendships, Patty. OOHH! Joan called Annie a Nazi, a low-life GAMBLER...... Then turned on Annie's last standing partner/teammate, Brandi Roderick(who happens to be a Playboy Employee) and called her a pit-viper sleeper(this was corrected by the censor God.I wrote....well, it starts with a W and  rhymes with snore!!) Then, in the final boardroom, Joan turned her angelic face on as she spoke of her wonderful charity and how 'blessed" she was to have the privilege of helping them!...if you getsa chance, the best parts are prolly somewhere online.
can you say Character Assasination??
Betcha the Rivers girls won't be headlining in Vegas any too soon....

I only watched the last two episodes and I agree with you Cathi.  The Donald make the wrong choice imho.  I cannot believe how he completely blew off all the hateful crap that spewed out of Joan Rivers mouth.  Disgusting!

True, Jimi.......if we would refrain from watching crap like that and go back to the truly entertaining or, imagine........educational programming, garbage like this would simply decompose and we'd be done....

Ahhh yes... I did catch that commentary at the latter part of the show, and then the reference to the Nazi/gambler thing (I was half asleep by then).  My thought was, oh, that's it, it's over for her.

When they starting talking about how Joan was being talked about for how well the Kodak branding thing went, I thought - REWIND, she's going to win!

It figures.  I thought Joan Rivers must've had yet another facelift because on that show, her face looked permanently and painfully etch-a-stretched.  Maybe Wouldn't be surprised if the Donald has a deal with Kodak.

Trump Cafe is right downstairs... no more chocolate chip cookies for me!!  Tongue

Yeo, that SUCKED! Going into it, I didn't know I could despise those Rivers girls any more than I already did....but YES, I found I could.

Annie was tough as nails, and kicked their ass all over the place.....and lost. UGH.

Bite me, Donald. Angry
