Back for the pain
May 17th, 2009 at 1:17pm

Hi everybody.  I'm new to this site.  When I first found it I cried while I read all of the testimonials and realized that there are people that understand what I'm going through and don't think I'm crazy and exaggerating.  I know lots of people who have migraines and I sympathized with them but never really, truely thought that they had the feeling of what I was going through.
I'm going into my fourth week of pain and praying every night that tonight will be the last night that I wake up in excruciating pain and it will go away again.
I've been getting ch for about 10 years.  I never knew what it was until the last bout with it 2 years ago.  My boyfriend says that it lasted 4 or 5 weeks that time but why do I feel like it was more like 2 or 3 months?  I'm hoping that he's right and I only have a couple weeks to go.  It's funny how I find god all over again whenever this rears it's ugly head.
Thank you for being here.  Just knowing that this site exists makes me feel better. Smiley

Hi and welcome to the site.......!

Your not the first and you won't be the last person to cry upon finding this site. I'm sure even the biggest of guys on this forum shed a tear whilst reading those testimonials, Not me of course... but there are some... Roll Eyes

Tell us a little more about yourself such as what treatments and medications you are on and how they are working for you.

Welcome to the family and let me reassure you that you are no longer alone.. Wink

Welcome, as Lefty said tell us about yourself.

There is lots of info to read on the site. Check out the o2 link on the left of the page. It is one of the most effective abortives for many of us.

Ask all the questions you want and there will be someone who is well qualified to answer.

It is always nice to find a safe secure and supportive home. You have done just that.

Do you use any abortives such a O2, Imitrex, energy drinks. Or a preventative such as Verapamil? Are you seeing a neuro about your CH?

Welcome to this site, it sure is a big help to anyone who found it in their search for info and understanding. I hope your boyfriend's right and you'll be out of cycle really soon!

Lottie

PS. If your boyfriend's interested, he can join this forum too as a supporter. There's a supporters section here as well.

Welcome to the board, there is SO much available to help you. Just gutting through them is unacceptable! Let us know what you've got and see if we can point you in a good direction!
