Baby birds... (updated)
May 17th, 2009 at 9:10pm

A few pics I took tonight.  The first 2 is of 2 different angles of the same nest that's in a bush right next to our deck.  The 3rd pic is in one of our pines in the back.  I freaked out the mama when I went digging to see if I could see a nest (she freaked me out too)...

Awwwww Smiley

What kind are they Mel?  I have been keeping an eye on a mama Robin that has been sitting on one egg for awhile now.  I'll try to get a pic when and if the egg ever haches.

Beth, I'm pretty sure the larger ones are house finches, but as for the little ones, I didn't see the parent close up, so I don't know. Undecided

It was sad to find out that the two baby birds in the 2nd nest did not make it.  The 30mph winds we had knocked them out of their nest and Eli found them on the ground last night. Sad

But in my walk around the yard this morning, there was beauty to be found...

Flowering crab...
