Joys of life -Update w/pics

Well, like many of you, my daughter is also graduating this year, tomorrow to be precise. Bye bye middle school, hello boarding school! Did I just really say that??

I did. I'm so proud of my daughter, she has achieved beyond OUR wildest dreams, and is the recipient of a Scholar's award to one of the best boarding schools in the NorthEast. Always there for eachother, now my daughter will leave me to work hard towards the future, four years earlier than expected. It's not what I expected to happen, but the opportunity is amazing, and I would never hold her back. All the frustrations and fears of single parenthood are metamorphosing.

I get choked up just thinking about it, but I'm taking it one day at a time. For now, Graduation is tomorrow. It might sound obnoxious, but I wanted to share, not so much as brag.

I'll post pics when I have them.

Good luck tomorrow Pep, I hope the weather stops monkeying around there! Brid was dead peeved with me that I'd spoken to you but that she didn't get to say hi until I explained you were at work. She said to say hi and goodluck to Ericka from her too so of course needlenose had to butt in with his tuppence ha'penny worth! LOL

Your daughter is taking those wings you gave her, that you taught her to use, and flying gracefully into that wild blue that awaits her.

Congrats to you BOTH. It was a lot of work on both your parts.
