strangest cycle ever
Jul 4th, 2009 at 2:28am

I hd posted back in April about preventing my cycle using RC Seeds. I was able to bust my cycle last year in a week with this method and i believe that it can work but unfortunately for me this time it only seems to have postponed my cycle. It started up again in the beginning of June and boy did it come back with a vengeance.

My attacks have been brutal. In the past I would have just a few K10's mixedin with mostly k4-7s. This cycle I am getting 2-3 k10s a night with the occasional 4th mixed in every few day (and at completely different times) just to add some icing on my cake.

As usual, my life is completely in turmoil. Friends 7 family try to understand but lets be honest no one who hasn't experienced what we live through can really understand. It really sucks and due to the strange nature of my cycle i find myself getting anxiety about whether or not i am going chronic. The very idea that that is possible makes my stomach churn.

I am considering going back to my nuero for the meds, the thought of doing so bothers me but I would do anything not to feel this way so if I must i must. The day after hangovers are  terrible I am just limping through life. I was going through some serious personal crisis before this episode hit so now i don't know what is beating me up worse, the depression or the ch's...probably a bit of both.

I wish the rest of you many pain free days. We survive, we learn we get through these and hope that in the near future they find a fool proof way to treat us. Nothing is more  frustrating than having one med work and then the next cycle it is absolutely worthless. You guys all know this, we learn it the hard way through blood sweat & tears. i am praying for a better tomorrow cuz I cant take too many more of the crappy todays.

I have an ice pick being repeatedly stabbed through my eye, into my brain while 4160 Volts run through it as someone squeezes my eyeball. You get headaches buddy, I get the Beelzebub on Crystal Meth.

Hi King,

Sorry to hear you are having a bad time of it.  I'm new to this site, and only had CH for two years, but all I can say is read as much info as possible from here.  I've learned a great deal in the last two weeks.  My Dr. started me on a prednisone taper and gabapentin.  I'm also using the O2.  My attacks have almost gone away, but the pred is nasty stuff.  Makes me very jumpy and unfocussed.  I'm on the downward taper of the pred now, so we will see if it broke the cycle or just delayed.

If you don't have O2, get some.  It has helped very quickly when i did get an attack.  Many here have spoken about having multiple weapons at hand, and I think that makes good sense.  These CH seem to have a mind of there own, so you need to have multiple ways to fight.

Keep your spirits up!!!
