Oh it's still entirely possible you're crazy....just crazy with CH! Wink

Welcome to the club, you won't find a greater bunch of people, the dues just suck big time. What kind of regimen are you on to treat them? Many find the best option is the 2 pronged approach.

1: A good prevent. A med you take daily, while on cycle, to lessen the frequency and strength of your hits. I use lithium, verapamil and topomax are 2 other common prevent meds.

2: A good abortive. An attack starts, now what? Your first line abortive should be 02. I can abort an attack in 6-8 minutes using just oxygen. Read the oxygen info link on the left as it must be used correctly or it won't work. Imitrex injectable and nasal sprays are also popular abortives.

Many find moderate degrees of relief by chugging an energy drink at the first sign of an attack. Monster, Rock Star, any containing the combo of caffeine and Taurine. Some keep the open cans in the fridge while on cycle. They lose their fizz and you can chug them faster.

You have much reading to do. Unless you're one of the rare lucky ones with a knowledgeable neuro, you're going to get your best results by educating yourself first, and partnering with your doc to plan your strategy.

Dang glad you found us.

Welcome to the club.  Wish you didn't have reason to join!

Take your time and read.  You will find the accumulated experience and knowledge that you won't find anywhere else.  Please feel free to ask questions.  That is why we hang around this place.  As you learn you will in turn pss it long to another rookie later.
