New to the forum...

...but not new to CH.  Started getting them at 20, Dr. said I'd probably outgrow them but now I'm 50 and still going strong.  Have been on all sorts of drugs but none other than abortives (Imitrix inhalers work well) have helped.  I am now trying Kudzu thanks to this forum!  I did NOT have a second episode last night.  What a relief to not wake up after an hour in pain!  Hopefully the Kudzu is helping.

How nice to find a group of people who GET what I'm going through.  Of course, I wish that there was no need for this group but I'm relieved to see that I am not the only 'special' person in the world.

Damn glad you found us jazz, hoping the Kudzu holds up for you. If not, do check back in and we'll chat about all the different prevents and abortives currently enjoying a decent success rate. Here's hoping the Kudzu kicks it for you. I'm 49, about 31 years of CH, still waiting patiently to outgrow the damned things! Wink

Hi Jazzman, I'm 55, been dealing with them since at least age 23.  Maybe they are waiting for me to grow up before outgrowing them. Cheesy

Glad to hear the Kudzu might be working for you.  It will probably take a little time for it to build up in your system to be most effective, and yo might have to play around with the dosage a bit before you find what is optimal for you.  I know I was taking 3 a day until just recently I upped mine to 4, and I think upping it helped.  With CH though you are never sure.  It seems to morph on you to fast.  All I'm saying with this is be flexible.  Don't think if it quits working that nothing will.  You  just need to change up with it.

Keep us posted!  Keep reading.  You will find a great deal of knowledge here that is for your taking and usage.  All we ask in return is for you to help someone else in turn.

Not sure if it's the Kudzu, though I'd like to, but went without meeting the Beast at all yesterday.  That's the first day in about a month.  Woo-hoo!  Hopefully there will be more to follow.

Thanks to everyone who responded.  This site is a tremendous resource!!
