It is now Friday, and you had your surgery on Monday ... Enough being super bitch and making everyone wait on you hand and foot.

Howz the schnoz?

Howz the pain?

Still got black eyes?

Still been able to bullshit Caleb and others that you NEED constant waiting on?

Come on, ya conniving old battle axe, spill the story!

Just wondered if you missed me.....

Ok, I've been playing it up -- THIS SHIT HURTS!!!!!

I FINALLY quit all the bleeding, but am still hitting the pain pills - tried to get off them, but my blood pressure shot up and almost blew the top of my head off. Called the doc and he said that I was having pain and just didn't realize it (I'd been taking ibuprophen instead of the good stuff). Told me to get back on the pain pills - I did and the pressure went back to normal.

The reason I haven't been on the board is I can't see. The swelling has been real bad and it's got my eyes blurred, so I can't see all the "lovely" things you've been saying about me. it's down a little this morning, so ... now I can say nasty things to you too...

Caleb went on a little camping trip with his parents yesterday afternoon and will be gone till Sunday. The dogs and I are "resting" up till his return. Smiley They can pick their days -- it's pouring down rain today and it probably is whree they are... Oh well - he needed a bath anyhow.

You'll appreciate this - one of my sisters-in-law called yesterday (to see if I'd do some "free" work for her - which I said NO to) and informed me that she'd had this done "one time" and didn't even know she'd had anything done - no pain - no problems and just couldn't understand why I was having problems. I listened to her tirade, took a deep breath (my pressure was up about that time) and said SO sweetly, "Well, Bless your little heart!"  Cool And I didn't even feel bad about saying NO to the free work.

But James fixed me some "medicinal" brownies (always good for pain and other "medical" conditions). They seem to be working and my eyesight is improving. Got up about midnight and took one (with a little Blue Bell ice cream - just to be on the safe side - cuts down reactions you know) and it worked like a charm. I'm MUCH better this morning.

And don't you worry none -- I'll be back to my sweet little ole self by next Wednesday when I arrive in St. Louis - I'll be ready for YOU! buster.... just don't you worry your pretty little head about that... Roll Eyes

Hugs BD Kiss Kiss

Barbara, wishing you a speedy recovery.

Had a nose injury 18 years ago from a football accident and I can still remember the doctor removing the packing. He was like a magician pulling the stuff from my nose, I swore there was going to be a rabbit at the end of the packing.

PS. Be ready for that rush of air up your nostrils when it's removed. It's great... Smiley

I liked your line about the Dr saying you were in pain, but you didn't know it.  We tend to get to where other pains just don't mean that much.

I got hit on the head with a pipe on Mon.  It bled pretty badly and the business manager wanted to call an ambulance while I was getting a cloth to put pressure on it to stop the bleeding.  I just laughed at him, got the bleeding stopped and kept on working.  He kept trying to get me to go the the emergency room, then the Dr, then home.  I didn't even take a tylenol.  Tues I couldn't see straight and was dizzy, and again on Wed, so I didn't go to work, but never had a HA worse than a Kip2.  Not enough to bother with.

Glad you are doing better, and really looking forward to meeting you Thurs!
