Nose bleeds from Prednisone??? (Read 3473 times)

Jul 25^th, 2009 at 1:27am I am on Prednisone and was wondering if anyone has ever experienced nose bleeds from it? I've had 2 nose bleeds today and not sure why? I am already having emotional issues from the Prednisone....sleeping even less, mood swings, feeling "down in the dumps", hungry ALL THE TIME! Just wondering if nose bleeds could be from that too?

I'm not sure about the nose bleeds but ya never know

I've been on it for 9 days at 60 mg a day. After 10 days, I do 30 mg for 3 days, then 15mg for 3 days, then 10mg for 3 days, then 5mg for 2 weeks.

I have done the pred. taper several times, have never had the nose bleed or in the dumps ( actually the complete opposite ) hope you start feeling better soon.....Lenny
