Point WELL taken!! I remeber that there were a few people that try and do this THING without meds or with little meds. Need advice because I want to try it but I know I will need some help and HOPE that I can be pointed in the right direction. All help is appreciated.

Welcome back, Jobette.

First question that comes to mind is do you have access to O2? That would make it easier right off.

There are a lot of non-med things that help, like taurine, magnesium, kudzu.  Kudzu worked for me for 14 months, although I did use other meds during part of that time

Is it finances or are you just trying to put less stuff in the bod?

I have O2 and I do use Taurine (energy drinks). I hate the side affects of the Verapimil and Indomethasine. The Topomax and Lithium are a no no, but I WILL use imitrex. I have insurance (like that makes much of a difference, when you still can't get enough of what you need. I am tired of feeling like hell because of the meds and still have to dance with these "HEADACHES". By the way I don't consider these things headaches because MY HEAD is doing a whole lot more than aching. It has control over me right now and that is being honest about it. It is a show stopper and can ruin a good day.  I realize that we all have our own different way of dealing with this thing, but I also realize that the doctors don't know much more than we or I do!! How can they really KNOW how these things affect a person when everything that they know about them is NOTHING. If this is the way that it is going to be and I have been dealing with this for a few years, I would like to go through and be able TO go through. Those drugs are too much to have to deal with and deal with this HEAD CONDITION.
My plan is this: a predizone taper, because thaey are coming too fast. I do think that it helps and yes it has its affects but... use the O2 and imitrex as needed. What do you think? I realize that I may have to suffer but I am doing that anyway. Undecided

1.  May you skip the next million cycles.

2.  My regimen when they begin is, prednizone taper, O2, energy drinks, and zyprexa for last case scenario.  Triptans dont help me much for some reason.  Honestly, if the Chs arent "bad" (relatively) then I wont do the prednizone and just use energy drinks and O2.  If they ramp up, I go to the drugs.  I was on lithium before, so I might try it again too.

3.  There is no normal for CH, I mean saee the pictures from the OUCH convention....... very little normal there!!!  Tongue

You've overstayed your welcome since the day we met but it doesn't seem to matter to you.  No medications are your master, nothing makes you fret, it's a helpless feeling having nothing I can do
