I got my facet block yesterday
Aug 4th, 2009 at 7:30am

I had my facet block done yesterday. It ABSOLUTELY SUCKED, but I'm hoping I will NEVER get another CH, but I'll have to wait to see because my cycle seems to have ended as of a week ago. He lesioned the nerves by shocking the nerve with an electrical charge going through the needles and burning them.
The part that was the worst was when he drove the top needle through the lump, or glfball sized not I have had since my cycle started. Today I'm stiff and it does hurt but hopefully it will all be worth it.
As you can see, the needles weren't very small Undecided

I figured with the way he put the needles in it would trigger more attacks, especially the top needle. He went right through the lump I get when I have a CH. That was the worst. But I haven't had any attacks yet.
It does still hurt and I'm pretty stiff but it's nothing like it was the day I had it done.

I haven't had any headaches sense the nerve block, but the pain from it sucks. The nerves are dying and sending some strange signals from the base of my head all the way down my arm and my neck is hurting. The doc says it will be like this for 3 weeks, O BOY!!! Cheesy

Dang. Well hopefully you can take the "at least this pain isn't right behind my frikkin' eyeball!" type of solace.

That's what I try to remember to say to myself when suffering from some other sort of condition.

Here's hoping you're pain free after those 3 weeks are up!

CH according to Bejeeber:

Strictly relying on doctors for CH treatment is often a prescription that will keep you in a whole lot of PAIN. Doctors are WAY behind in many respects, and they are usually completely unaware of the benefits of high flow 100% O2.

There are lots of effective treatments documented at this site. Take matters into your own hands, learn as much as you can here and at clusterbusters.com, put it into practice, then tell this CH beast Jeebs said hello right before you bash him so hard with a swift uppercut knockout punch that his stupid horns go flinging right off.
