Tim do you have the opti-mask?   If not you can buy one very inexpensively right here from DJ and Steph at the ch.com store.

If you're using one of those cheap non-rebreathers the opti-mask could make a lot of difference for you.

I do wish you luck, you deserve a break my friend.

I will certainly wish you luck, while hoping you have a regulator that will give you 35-45 lpm in order to give O2 a real chance to work for you!

tim,

I just got ox again, but at 25lpm this time, and with the Op2timask, and it seems to be working better than 15lpn and a nonrebreather did before.  Hope that is what you are trying.  I'll be praying for relief for you.

Good luck, Tim!  If you need any help, just ask, as several of us would be glad to call you on the phone to help you to get the best results from your usage.

The O2PTIMASKTM and a regulator that goes to at least 25 LPM is FAR superior to the old 15LPM and disposable non-rebreather mask that we all used.

Most likely, your doctor will not prescribe flow rate of higher than 15 LPM, nor will your vendor be able to supply a regulator that goes higher, but that is OK, because we can help you get what you need.

As a bare minimum, though, get the O2PTIMASKTM that you can buy over there
<--------------------------------------<<<<<<
at the CH.com store because there are those that get good results with that mask and the 15 LPM.

If you had purchased the ClusterMasxTM from Ben, and it is still in good condition, you will not need to buy the O2PTIMASKTM.

Keep us informed, my friend, and GOOD LUCK!

Chuck

What everybody else said about the mask. Plus try and get a regulator that will do 35 LPM from E-Bay or someplace if you can. The more of that you can blast the better. Get a good damn seal on that mask and have at it with all you can get. Thats the ticket.

Glad to see you are back online, buddy!  I hope, once the new mask and regulator get there, it will knock them down even faster!

Fingers crossed Chuck

Please keep us posted!  I've been knocking mine back in about 5 mins lately!  Many, many thanks to those that helped me get it going so well!

Wasn't able to get a 25lpm setup from my supplier for an M tank, so wht they did was to give me two M tanks with 15lpm regulators and a Y connector for the O2 lines.  Of course they told me I had to leave one set at 10lpm and the other at 15lpm. (RIGHT!)  They could not believe I could suck a bag flat at 15, but I'm still doing it at 25 when it is hitting hard.  30lpm is wonderful!

Hoping it is working well for you by now.

Jerry
