Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

One of the greatest guitars ever built, it has been imitated over and over again, and even Epiphoney has their cheapo version, but a true Les Paul comes only from Gibson.
That has always been my dream guitar, a Gibson Les Paul - but with a price tag of $1'800 for a cheaper model, it will always be a dream of mine to own one. (The Les Paul Custom I want is a wine colored stain with Seymour Duncan's - priced at $2'200.)

Les was an incredible player as well. I have an old album, "Chester and Lester plays The Beatles" he recorded with another legend, Chet Atkins and I played it to death.
Besides the Les Paul guitar, he is also responsible for developing multi-track recording so his wife, Mary Ford, could overdub and harmonize her voice.

The Gibson Les Paul is like the Lamborghini of guitars. I've always wanted one, and will always want one. The chances of me actually owning one are very slim, unless I make some serious cash doing these soundtracks.

R.I.P. Les

Wow. I didn't think he was still around. When I was a kid he and Mary Ford were everywhere on the radio.

Always "Slippin' Around."

RIP Les.

We have lost a legend but his legacy will live forever. God's speed is now Les's tempo. R.I.P.

I bought a new Gibson Les Paul Custom in 1977 for $750 at dealers cost. Sorry Carl, but it was wine red with gold hardware and stock Gibson pickups. Sold it for $700 8 years later. Last year those guitars were selling for $7-8k. (shoot me)

An all original 1957 Les Paul was $100+K, imagine what the one in Brew's pic is worth.?? I would've kept my '77 but it always gave me a sore back after 4 sets, but I still miss that sound.

A true electric guitar and music pioneer, Les Paul.
