Great to be Back! OK, Maybe not!
Sep 3rd, 2009 at 4:33pm

Hi everyone. It's been a long time! As much as I enjoyed and truly appreciated this place during my last episode, I must admit I've enjoyed my time away much more. Not my time away from you all but my time away from the beast!

It's been 3 years! The last time it was 2 years. Before that it was always every year. So I was encouraged that maybe this thing was finally leaving my life forever. Apparently not! Had my first cluster today and it was a doozy!  Shocked  Lingering shadows and anxiety ever since, waiting for the next hit.

Anyway, I'm back and very glad to have this place and all of you. I swear it may have saved my life last time. Now I just have to remember how I battled it last time. It was a good battle for sure. I believe it was Varapamil, O2, Taurine, Kudzu & Melatonin. Worked pretty good as I remember. Thoughts?

Been good. Hate to see you had the ch's return. Have you been on a preventative since then?

I know Verapamil has worked pretty good for me.

No preventative. I had that 2 year break. This time when the 2 years came and went I thought maybe I was done. No such luck I guess. I wasn't ready for this so I have nothing. No O2, no drugs...nothing. Plus I just moved to Charlotte with a new job so I have to start over with doctors too. Should be fun! Smiley

Now that you're in North Carolina, maybe you can answer a question thats been eating at me since my arrival.

Just who has the most powerful doppler radar in the Carolina's?
Channel 11 says they do but I don't believe them.
And there's something fishy about those Fox 50 people!

Smiley  Well, I'm not familiar with the stuff they have in Raleigh or the Fox 50 folks. But I can tell you this...for the most part doppler is doppler. If you have the best software then you can have the best "look" on the air and do more fancy things but the general info is the same.
