The same respect should be given to those who choose not to post, for whatever length of time, as well.  Don't you think?

Ahhh, no.

If a person makes one post a year, why would I give them the same respect as a guy who is here everyday, laboring, and praying, typing messages to save lives, and help on a regular basis, sharing knowledge, personal tricks, offering advice. This is a labor of love.
So no. Hell no....I'm not gonna show the same level of respect to someone that comes in here once a year to basically find out, "whats new"....GTFOH with that Angry

Look, its NOT ABOUT ME. Get that. If you can get that part FIRST, we can move forward. If a guy makes one post a year he's barely a member.

I dont see where the guy even asked for anything. When you are the webmaster then maybe you can decide when its appropriate for people to come and go. As of right now........Your not.

Dude, I dont need to be a webmster to voice my opinion. You're defending a guy who isn't even here enough to even defend HIMSELF.

Undoubtedly I typed something which some members have thought at least one time or another, but were afraid to say. So what does it matter?

If i'm going to get gang-jumped by you guys for voicing my opinion, I see I don't fit the norm in here. Because I SAY things, and sometimes I'll be the one to say what others were thinking and just afraid to say.
At most I shoulda got ONE, maybe TWO PEOPLE to go against what I said....namely the guy in question.....cus I wasn't even TALKING TO Nobody else.

Hello all,

My name is Lawrence. I've been here before, but its been a long time since I posted here. I frequent this board weekly though.
I'm 31, been having CH since I was in middle school as a kid, so i'm familiar with the beast.
Right now I am in a cycle thats been going on since April.
My cycles usually last two months of every year, in the spring, with daily one-hit wonders of a KIP-10-- then they go away, but this year, the beast has stayed with me a little longer than normal.

Hate to say this, but i try not to come to this message board, sometimes it seems like just thinking about CH, or being reminded of them helps bring them back...

Hypocrite much?

Having said that, I understand that feeling. Just be a little more tolerant to others that feel the way that you say that you have felt in the past

Well IMO Lawrence is a good guy, a real good contributor here, and from what I've seen in recent posts, someone who has been in a particularly intense, getting desperate, locked horn battle with the beast lately.

So how's about we cut him a little slack too, now that he's had his good bakers dozen or so reprimands, and just kinda let this thing slide away

CH according to Bejeeber:

Strictly relying on doctors for CH treatment is often a prescription that will keep you in a whole lot of PAIN. Doctors are WAY behind in many respects, and they are usually completely unaware of the benefits of high flow 100% O2.

There are lots of effective treatments documented at this site. Take matters into your own hands, learn as much as you can here and at clusterbusters.com, put it into practice, then tell this CH beast Jeebs said hello right before you bash him so hard with a swift uppercut knockout punch that his stupid horns go flinging right off.

First off, thanks to all of the folks who had the kind and understanding words.   Smiley

Secondly, I have no obligation as to explain why I have or have not posted, or what I 've been doing for these three years, but here it is in a nutshell.....

My wife and I had our first chld, so with the sleepless nights of raising a child who continually gets ear infections (even with tubes in his ears) that soaks up about 2 years of time.  Also I have a genetic defect with my heart that I have to deal with on a daily basis.

So needless to say, when the end of the long day comes, I would rather sit with my loving wife and child on the couch then be in front of a computer typing away.  And if some people don't like that, well that's just too bad, because for all the crap my family has to go through with my medical problems, I'm going to give them as much of my time as possible when I'm feeling good.

~Peace out

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom to say anything you want without being criticized. If you're going to say something, especially if it's contrary to popular belief, you better be ready to be criticized and be ready to defend what you've said.

Damn, don't they teach anything in high school composition anymore? This is a basic concept.

I think this thread is pretty much done.

Marc, sorry you had to come back.

Lawrence, we'll be here if you decide to come back next cycle... just like we are for everyone else that doesn't like to visit when they're not in pain.  The decision to go or stay is very much a personal one... and one we don't criticize people for.
