I also do the yearly fishing trips, We go ice fishing and stay right in the middle of the lake in our hut for 4 days.  Last cycle was the same as you. I debated for a while but then once I thought about it, I figured it was the perfect place to be. I walk out my door and Nothing but ice for miles.

Verapamil has been a miracle for me. I went from hitting imitrex 4 to 6 times a day to using the trex 2 times a week. May want to give it a shot.
