I believe I've seen 10 mg before bed being reported around here as the usual "cluster dose".

CH according to Bejeeber:

Strictly relying on doctors for CH treatment is often a prescription that will keep you in a whole lot of PAIN. Doctors are WAY behind in many respects, and they are usually completely unaware of the benefits of high flow 100% O2.

There are lots of effective treatments documented at this site. Take matters into your own hands, learn as much as you can here and at clusterbusters.com, put it into practice, then tell this CH beast Jeebs said hello right before you bash him so hard with a swift uppercut knockout punch that his stupid horns go flinging right off.

I've been using Nature's Way Kudzu, 613 mg, 6 capsules a day.  Started out with 4, worked it to 5, then to 6.  Had improving results with each.  Since going to 6/day I have had very few breakthroughs, and usually only when I have missed a couple of dosages.  Much more effective for me than Verap, and no side effects other than a little bit of gas.  That is a tremendously small price to pay for the relief I've gotten.  You will have to experiment to find your proper dose.  It will take a couple of weeks to reach the full benefit of whatever dosage you use, so don't give up after a couple of days if you don't see the results you want.  I did notice a difference pretty quickly, but not the full result for about 2 weeks.

I can't speak to the Melatonin as I can't use it.  If I take it at night I am groggy all day the next day.  Hope it works for you.  Many swear by it.

HOly crap, I must be OD'ing on this stuff. I take two 1000 mg before going to bed.  Hey, works for me:)  But I got mine online from Puritans Pride....5 bottles for 21 bucks.
Like Callico, I'm not a fan of the Melatonin, but it works for some.  I've been taking some Taurine along the way as well, and this seems to have good results.
AT Puritans Pride there are some products that cannot be shipped outside the contiguous US, but I did not read this on the Kudzu.  Give it a try..and good luck.

I get my melatonin from my doctor on prescription.  At first I had to sign a disclaimer but it is now licensed in the UK so I sould pay a normal prescription charge (except I don't as I'm over 60).

For those of us that it works for, yes. But others have said they get nothing. Ah, the joy of the beast.  Cheesy
