shrooms..anyone on board actually tried ?
Oct 27th, 2009 at 1:25pm

Just curious.  Was reading on clusterbusters site this morning about shroom use.  In my 20's and 30's I picked them regularly in S.E. Okla so I'm very familiar with them but that was several years before my CH started.

Needless to say, as  I have used them for recreation, I would have no aversion whatsoever to trying them to break the cycle I'm in now even if it has been over 30 years since I quit messin with those kind of things.

Any personal experience comments would be appreciated.

Wishing all PFDAN's

Dallas Denny

They work, they work, and they work. RC seeds do as well. Check out the new buster message board and post there. You will have a better chance for responses your requesting.

You're not going to find too many people stepping over each other to admit to illicit drug use on a public forum.

I ate psilocybin tons of times on my 4 year vacation (college) and I had clusters back then, however I never took them during cycle because I knew nothing of this phenomenon/connection.  It was probably in 2002 when I was going through a high cycle and I said F it when my buddies were over.  I said, what's the worst that can happen, I get a cluster while shrooming.  Well, when the shrooms kicked in, quite the psychedelic way, I completely forgot about my headaches and had a blast with my buddies being outside by a fire and such enjoying our trip for several hours.  When the trip was over, I finally realized that I forgot about my clusters the entire trip and as I waited for the next hit, it never happened not until the following weekend.  Well, my buddies had a ton of shrooms back then and they were readily available and I said F it again, lets gobble these things up because the past week has been pain free and I wondered if there was a resemblance.  Sure enough, had a clean trip, no headache and never had one again till my next cycle which was a year later.  After I did this, my mom being a health educator printed out stuff online with things people used to treat their CH.  On that list was shrooms and then it hit me that there was a connection to the psilocybin and cracking cluster cycles.  My mom of course rolled her eyes about it until the past year when I made her read stuff on here and clusterbusters.  Now, I always keep a bag of shrooms in my freezer as my last resort.  I'm not really into the trip anymore and shrooms will hammer you compared to rc seeds which have no effects on me other than getting tired and some gas, lol!

Well, that's my story.  Sorry to babble on.

Cheers,
Chad

That's pretty incredible Chad that you actually stumbled upon the psilocybe treatment, made that connection, and killed your episode, all before hearing anything about it elsewhere.

The thing about your college days recreational shroom use and strictly cluster busting use, is that a small non hallucinogenic (or close to it) dose is actually supposed to wok for CH, right?

CH according to Bejeeber:

Strictly relying on doctors for CH treatment is often a prescription that will keep you in a whole lot of PAIN. Doctors are WAY behind in many respects, and they are usually completely unaware of the benefits of high flow 100% O2.

There are lots of effective treatments documented at this site. Take matters into your own hands, learn as much as you can here and at clusterbusters.com, put it into practice, then tell this CH beast Jeebs said hello right before you bash him so hard with a swift uppercut knockout punch that his stupid horns go flinging right off.

That is correct. Although I have better results with a higher dose.

I would say I ate about 1.5-2 grams or 1/16 oz. at that time.  They were strong enough to put me in a 4-6 hour trip with major effects, but still in control.  Some batches were insane, others were just good.  I would think, the higher the dose, the better results with busting.  I choose not to do them anymore unless the seeds fail.  They sit in the freezer.  It's definitely better doing them with somebody and luckily I have a friend who is an artist and loves to do it recreationally.  You should see his art work while
on them  Wink

I should add, I haven't tried the RC seeds yet but if I every get another cluster cycle I'll give them a try (and this time I'll do it right). Wink

I suspect that there won't be a next time for you Bob. Maybe you finally outgrew them.

Depending upon how you interpret your history/pattern, you will  know soon whether they are spreading out more or have gone on a permanent vacation. Been taking extra vitamin D?

Best,

Marc
