apologize to fellow suffers
Nov 9th, 2009 at 8:55pm

I have been suffering with the beast since I was 14 years old. I discovered CH.com when I was 18 years old,  High school was interesting to say the least...
Anyways, I am 28 now and have danced the danced, jump through windows, broken every cordless phone I own, put my head through walls and even lost my marriage. (not all the beasts fault, but it helped) I apologize because I only come here when the cycle starts, and every time I say, I won't do it again. Because others need support when i am PF, But when the cycle stops, I feel free, relieved. I don't want to think about these headaches for another year. The whole process sucks, from doctors not getting it, (or getting an appt to see a doctor that actually gets it but it in 8 weeks, cycles gone by then) to no sleep, to friends and family thinking your crazy, down to work treating you like shit because you showed up to work holding a O2 tank looking like you died last night Saying "I get headaches". They all look at you like "OK"
Just at my limit here. I really wanted to go to st louis this year but my divorce bankrupted me. Could not afford to go. Can wait to actually meet some one that really gets it.  Thanks for letting me vent. Now time for some o2. :'(

I can relate and I am here again for the same reasons. What we can do is focus on what we will do going forward vs. what we have not done in the past....

I know how it is to lose a marriage to CH (or so my ex said) Trust me, there are a lot more reasons than that and anyone who would say that is hiding a lot more.

I'm sorry you have had CH from so young, that sucks. I kind of know how that is too since my son has CH as well as me.
I'm glad you have O2 - it sounds like you know what you're doing there but we're always happy to help!
You're welcome, in cycle, out of cycle, whatever. I can understand you not wanting to stick around but come and join us on the general board, chat, get to know us - we're pretty insidious. We'll steal your car key's and nail your shoes to the floor so you can't get away this time!!

Thank you so much For the kind words. I'm crying like a baby now. It feels so good to hear from others that know what this whole situation is like not just he pain.  Well day 9 is over and off to bed.  I know I'm not alone anymore. Hope fully I can sleep for a few hours tonight.

PFD to all.

I understand.  When my cycle was at its worst several weeks ago, I was already worrying about not ever wanting to see this site again and how ugly that would be, but somehow I am still here and it isn't depressing. I do think it is good to take a break from anything that is stressful.  I have been a care giver for 2 cancer patients and learned the hard way.  So, take a break when needed and then return fresh!
